TROUGHFUL OF PEARLS – BEHOLD THE PROTONG 1980

This was the first publication in 50 years of a book on Szukalski while he was alive, his last being PROJECTS IN DESIGN in 1929.

This book is a large 12” X 12”, “69” format. The front, TROUGHFUL OF PEARLS, contains mostly sculpture and drawings, while the opposite side flipped over, is BEHOLD THE PROTONG which contains Szukalski’s Zermatism drawings and theories.

The book was edited and published by Glenn Bray and Lena Zwalve and 1200 copies were printed;
100 of them were in hardcover and signed by the artist.
We have a few of these, and a very few signed softcover copies.
The hardcover books are signed by Szukalski, Glenn Bray and Lena Zwalve.
All are accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity and they are mint, unopened copies.
On a side note, the books contain a tipped-in yellow illustration page that was not glued in archivally. Therefore, most copies have small staining to the one yellow page.  Please email for status
